Christopher Bing BDS (Otago) 1979

Dentistry has always been my passion because it allows me the opportunity to meet and help people from all walks of life. To me, dentistry is not just about drilling and filling, but giving people the confidence to smile and improve their eating ability. It is particularly rewarding when you hear patients say that they actually look forward to their routine visits because they can see the benefit of their treatment. Outside of work, I enjoy ‘family time’, music, food and wine, and have a particular interest in photography.

Working with Bing Dental for about 10 years has equipped me with the skills needed to care effectively for my patients. I enjoy talking with and treating all my patients, and especially developing and discussing an individualised treatment plan for them. My style is about putting people at ease and making them as comfortable as possible, not only in a dental chair but throughout their dental journey.

Besides dentistry, I love spending my free time cooking especially Thai food-the dishes from my motherland.
